New Co-Curricular Clubs at Imperial City School
Building Skills, Shaping Character, Inspiring Excellence

At Imperial City School, we believe education goes beyond textbooks. Our newly introduced clubs are designed to nurture talent, build confidence, and develop well-rounded individuals. Here’s how each club contributes to your child’s overall growth:

1. Martial Arts Club
Focus: Discipline, Self-Defense, Fitness
Martial arts instills respect, focus, and self-control while improving physical strength, balance, and coordination. Students learn perseverance through practice, gain confidence in their abilities, and develop the mental resilience to face challenges both in and out of school.

2. Roller Skating Club
Focus: Balance, Agility, Determination
Skating is more than speed and fun – it builds core strength, reflexes, and spatial awareness. Falling and getting back up teaches resilience, while mastering techniques fosters patience and goal-setting. It’s fitness with freedom.

3. Guitar Club
Focus: Creativity, Expression, Cognitive Skills
Learning guitar enhances memory, concentration, and fine motor skills. Music becomes a healthy outlet for emotions, boosts self-esteem through performance, and teaches discipline through regular practice. It also nurtures creativity and teamwork during group sessions.

4. Abacus Club
Focus: Mental Math, Concentration, Brain Development
Abacus training sharpens calculation speed, improves visualization, and strengthens both left and right brain functions. Students develop stronger concentration, listening skills, and numerical confidence – giving them an edge in academics and problem-solving.

5. Chess Club
Focus: Strategy, Patience, Critical Thinking
Chess is a gym for the mind. It teaches students to think ahead, analyze consequences, and make decisions under pressure. Regular play improves IQ, pattern recognition, and emotional control, while also fostering sportsmanship and grace in both winning and losing.
